What locations do Mobile echo NSW service around NSW?

Mobile echo NSW services all of Sydney (including homes, nursing homes, hospitals and medical practices). We also aim to services in rural areas in NSW at pop up clinics. Please contact us if you are interested in setting up a rural GP clinic.

How do i prepare for a Mobile echocardiogram?

All we need is a bed for the patient to lie down on, all the rest of the equipment is supplied. If this test is for a patient with limited movement, please prepare the patient by having easy to remove clothing on the upper body (button up shirt/ no singlet)

What are the costs?

There is a fee of $450 per echo. If eligible we will submit a Medicare rebate for the patient on their behalf. Please call us for the rough rebate amount, and whether you are eligible.

Do you accept any providers request form?

Yes, all referral forms are welcome in order to be eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Patients with no GP referral are welcome, however, they will not be entitled to the Medicare rebate.

How long will it take?

Please allow up to 45 minutes per scan.

We will aim to arrive at the time requested, however as we are a mobile clinic, we may arrive 5-10 minutes earlier/later than expected.

How quickly will my GP or specialist get the results?

Please allow up to five working days before contacting your specialist or GP for the results.

Please note, no results will be given to the patients directly unless specified.

For urgent results please inform us upon booking your appointment.
